Birmingham born Paul Hanlon became interested in hairstyling from an early age, where his inspiration grew through his passion for film & magazines. At the age of 17 he began hairdressing in a local Birmingham salon where he benefited from traditional old school style training and education. This has proved invaluable grounding for his future hair styling career. It wasnt long before Paul moved to London in 2002 to continue his passion for hairstyling and through his hard work & dedication managed to work alongside some of the most important session hair stylists within the industry. He then went onto launch his freelance career with the Julian Watson Agency in April 2003. Pauls reputation in the industry is one of a young hair stylist with a wealth of knowledge & creativity that goes far beyond his years. His client list includes photographers such as Craig McDean, David Sims, Mert&Marcus, Steven Klein and Advertising clients such as Calvin Klein, Cavalli, Dior, Loewe. Paul Hanlon regularly contributes to magazines such as French Vogue, Interview, Italian Vogue, Love, US Vogue, V magazine and W magazine and works on shows during fashion weeks all over the world with designers such as Calvin Klein, Christopher Kane, Dries Van Noten, Martin Margeila, Marni, Proenza Schouler. |
